Welcome to another amazing swim and dive season! There’s a lot happening as we kick things off, so thank you for taking a few minutes to read through all the updates below. There are some important practice updates so read to the bottom!

Our goal is to make this your one-stop shop for weekly team news and reminders.

First Meet – October 24th

Our first meet of the season is right around the corner!

Action Required:

1. Log in to SwimTopia and visit the Season Calendar → https://lhsswimdive.swimtopia.com/swim_meets/708424/swim_meet_entries
2. Declare your swimmer “IN” or “OUT” for the meet.
3. If your swimmer has specific event requests (strokes or races), please add a note for the coach when declaring.

Deadline: Please complete declarations by Sunday at 12:00 PM.

PARENTS you are responsible for driving your Athletes to a from the pool! Plan on arriving by 5:50 at the latest. More information to come!

VOLUNTEERS:

I have to apologize — I messed up and accidentally overwrote the volunteer sign-ups for our first meet. I know it’s an inconvenience, and I really appreciate your understanding. (This is exactly why I have Coach Mulvey here to keep me on track!)

Practice Update

DIVE PRACTICE IS CANCELLED THIS SUNDAY October 19^th due to a meet at the CAC. The pool will be unavailable that day.

There will be no practice on Monday, October 20 for the holiday.

Middle School Divers are invited to attend Tuesday from 9:00–10:00 PM next week to make up for the double cancellation.

Next week, we’ll be opening a shop where you can purchase extra spiritwear for yourself or your kids. This includes a special opportunity to order personalized caps for your swimmers! More details will be shared in next week’s Coach’s Corner.
